Outside the Mangla Devi temple, the Goddess who gave her name to the town - Mangalore. I was there on transit , enroute to Sringeri . It was a spiritual quest, a moment of togetherness with the divine, but my mind gets distracted by mortals and mortality ..

Mangla Devi Temple has been a source of Spiritual enlightenment to most of the Manglaorean's.
To date i visit, Mangla Devi Temple whenever I am in Mangalore.

yes Lakshmi: mortality...in a way, every life ends in tragedy-- that is, death...or, is this too negative a view?

Mark - Death is tragic to the ones who have lost their loved ones..but in this case, tragedy/mortality is more about decay, loneliness ...I guess thats dying before death. I wasnt going to become morbid though..
