Valparai and the Great Indian hornbill

One of my favourite birds is the hornbill - ask any birder and most of them would die to see this bird. The sight of it with its wing spread out , flying in the sky is an image one can never forget. In Valparai, we were lucky to see this bird and here are some photographs of it

Wow! That pretty beautiful shots on the gorgeous great hornbill!

It’s my favorite bird too right from the moment I saw it in Valparai. I was so gladder to check its beauty at stretched while it flies above us and chased by a bunch of crows.

Hi Lakshmi! Today is a holiday in Portugal, but it’s the worst winter day we had since last October... As grey as if we were living in Northern Europe... So, the only right thing to do is surfing the Net... ;)

Great shots! Amazing bird...

Blogtrotter Two is now in St. Kitts and Nevis... Enjoy and have a great week!!!
